These are a much better round light ,but the holes have be the right size . the lights you posted are bulb eaters ,with busted filaments from the rough ride.
Just go to the table of contents and scroll down to sthe section your looking ( axles ) and click on the red circle and it will take you to that section. Go to the drawing find the part number on the drawing , then scroll to the list for the part name and part number.

Go to the parts TM (ends in -P) and get the nsn or part number and search parttarget.com . It will give you the all the specs on the studs.
It looks like parttarget doesn't have the specs . You may need to press one out and match it at a heavy parts store.
But it looks like you need part # 33...
Fontaine, Talbert Manufacturing,ROGERS Trailers, Kalyn Siebert , all will build a trailer with commercial specs and the height of a M916 , all it takes is money.
Running crap fuel will do far more damage to the fuel system and engine than worrying about the FDC bypassed . You can't filter out the super fine metals or acids in used motor oil.
Without the support bracket you risk snapping the other bolts that hold it to the block . Have you checked to see if they are loose from not having the bracket on ?
Did you shim it correctly ? No way would I take it on a 400 mile trip without putting the support bracket on FIRST.
