What do you want to know Chis? It is a Compushift without the bluetooth option since it is now 5 years old:

Crutchfield will sell you the speakers and mounts. Just put in for a K5 blazer. I did that on one of my M1009’s. However the choice for that size isn’t the best. I went with kick panel speaker mounts and 6” speakers when i built the Cowdog Suburban. Much better options.
I have written a lot about injection pump timing in this thread with promises of a video of how to read the timing. I finally got around to making such a video:
A CUCV should have 12 volts at the glow plug. If you have 24 volts then something is wrong. Do you have the firewall mounted glow plug resistor behind the vacuum pump?
To answer your question premise. Voltage at the glow plug just means that you are getting power to it. The only way to test the...
The glow plugs are needed anytime the inside of the cylinder is less than 159° according to a really long and boring paper Bosch published years ago. So, check your glow plugs and replace them if needed.
Here is a video of how to test them if you want to do that:
I have not tried welding with the 24 volts. So, no comment on that.
I have 2 M1009 trucks that just start every single time I turn the key. I liked the 12/24 volt set up so much I made my M715 that way when I swapped in a 6.2 10 years ago. It also starts everytime I want it to.
I had a 12...
It reads like a wiring issue for that one side. However, the rubber isolators for the headlight panel are there for a reason. There is also a note in the 1964 TM about making sure the idle speed is high enough for just this reason, blown headlights because they got shaken to death. 850 is stuck...
The cloth covered ones are much easier to put on and off because they don't need the clamps. Here is some on Amazon:

I bought 5' from I think Badger Diesel several years ago for less than the kit I linked. The cloth...
If you pull the pink wire and it stays running, then the trouble is not on the truck side of things. A rebuilt pump did the same thing to me when I installed it a few years ago. I put another solenoid in and all has been well ever since. Just pulling the top cover of the IP and swapping the...
Stock distributor? Timing set correctly? If yes, then maybe a single pump on a cold day. Otherwise it will fire up like it wants to go play.
Mine would flood if you pumped more than once It seemed.
The Holley needle and seat will foul if you say "Dirt" within earshot of the truck. I suggest pulling the float bowl, blowing through the needle and seat, put it all back together and see if it is better. If everything else is correct that will probably fix it. I had 2 inline filters on mine...
All of the civilian 6.5 fans should be for a serpentine belt setup. If you have that part figured out then, yes it will fit the fan shroud. I have a Duramax fan on my Cowdog Suburban with the serpentine belt and stock 1987 6.2 fan shroud.
I have no clue about a HMMWV fan and fan clutch with...
3 things have to happen to start the engine:
Glow plug circuit activated and given time to function
IP fuel solenoid given power
Starter motor engaged
Maybe a 4th thing with the fast idle solenoid needing depression of the throttle to work.
Is yours a reduction gear or direct drive starter motor? The redux units almost all say DO NOT SHIM. The CUCV and HMMWV manuals have a great part about how to determine if you need to shim and how much as well.
The stock M715 axles are considered “weak” by modern built axle standards. I have a Detroit locker in my rear axle and did dry pavement burnouts with the 38” tall Michelin XZL tires. The ”weak” part is the outer u-joints of the front axle. If you turn the wheel full lock to one direction, have...
