My county in Utah requires emissions for below like 14k GVWR diesel newer than 1997. When I came for my temp tag, the lady said to just let them know if it can't be tested and they can override the requirement. I hope I get that same lady.

I absolutely believe you but it still doesn't make much sense to me. At the point when the SF97 is finally requested, GP isn't the legal owner, I am. I guess the issue stems from the fact the Government didn't sell the truck to me directly so they can't put me on the SF97. That doesn't explain...

Very interesting. I wonder if I should just do that preemptively or if I should wait however long until I get my SF97 and see if Utah will accept the reassignment letter first.

I just placed an order for the black 4 man soft top with hardware kit and also ordered the aluminum combo doors they offer. I'll be sure to take some pictures and let everyone know how it turns out.
