Well, I don't know you personally yet, so I was keeping it formal. As for spellin, it never was my strong suite. Sorry. :-(
That would work fine for me. Just keep me posted if things change.
Oh, sorry. We used my dad's Ford F150. It's a 4x4 and sits up high, plus he has a pintle mount that raises up from the trailer hitch. Basically it makes the truck level with the trailer.
Not much to say about the pickup. It's my fourth recovery from Ft Lewis so I have the system down pretty...
Another successful recovery. My dad and I picked up his new M101A2 trailer today at Ft. Lewis. Got to love it only took 2 weeks for my EUC to clear. Guess they are getting to know me.
As many here have said here, don't trust your fuel gauge. My truck said I had 3/4 tank full today but it showed less than a third when I parked it last.
Our local Fred Meyers just opened a filling station and was offering .20 cents per gallon off with their loyalty card. I put $100 worth of diesel in the tank and am ready to go on the 12th.
Also noticed that one of my headlights has burned out. Any advice where to buy a 24-volt headlight?
That's the plan so far. We will meet up with Stuart along 405. He knows how to get there a lot better than I do. So far it's a 3 vehicle convoy. If anyone else is heading there from the north, maybe they will want to convoy with us.
On a side note, I may take my trailer as well. Only problem is...
I recently sold one of my M105A2 trailers and have a good complete set of bows as well as the rear gate. (both wood) I'd bring those with me to the meet if anyone is interested. Say $50 for the complete package?
Yes please. I couldn't find my way back if I had to. Plus this time the convoy will be a little larger so that'll give other motorists something to look at.
Mmm, coffee.
That could work. I'd park behind their building though. I couldn't imagine trying to maneuver a deuce into one of their parking spots. heh
