When looking up part numbers for a 6.2 vs 6.5 engine it shows the piston in the pump to be a different size and different pressure. I didn't realize that the pumps weren't that much different. I guess the seller of pump must have not had the correct information about the pump and I went...

It goes to high idle as soon as started. I have the throttle return as far back as it goes. I'm going to check return line to see if it's clogged.

Yes, throttle return installed.

Did you check the check valves in front of tank? No fuel on mine and check was frozen shut. Also check strainer sock in tank.

I'm wondering if a clogged injector would cause it to idle like this. When I first got it running it didn't have this high idle. Or possibly a clogged return line.

Nothing bent on the outside, what can adjusted in the top cap that adjusts idle? I thought just the kill switch.

I found a post about adjusting fuel pressure setting on ip. Anyone mess with this setting. Turning a 1/4 turn counter clockwise.

The 6.2 and 6.5 have different IPs, so I thought that might be the reason why he had high idle. I figured the 6.5 would have a higher fuel need than a 6.2.

I have my idle adjustment screw on my IP turned all the way down. This is a video of it running I don't know if there's any other way to adjust the idle.

Waiting on my sf97. Govplanet tells me 30 business days since pick up. Has anyone received there sf97 reciently? My HMMWV was picked up Feb 2.

Yours looks awesome with the camo top! I got the Arctic because that's all I could find. Tires should be here tomorrow, they were delayed in Wisconsin due to weather. Split rims are easy to deal with. Make sure you get new o rings. I'm not using the run flats so hopefully pretty easy to put on.

I don't think so either. I've ran it a few times up and down the street, no leaks. Trans full, oil fuel and power steering full. I went over every inch and didn't find anything missing. I did get to finish my 4 door conversion! So now I wait on sf97.

Checked on back of transfer case and both plugs are installed. Are those the only two?

I haven't moved this out of garage other than test drives. My 1991 Z28 sits next to it. That hasn't moved since Oct. I went through all the tms looking at every schematic.

Just checked both fronts, they are there.
