Where do you think your shoes, iPhone or ANY mobile phone or ANY computer or t-shirt is coming from? A transformer as hardware without software is ok, the main problem is in the software.
Not only pulling the load but also the 5 trucks hanging behind it, now that's impressive.
With two trucks in front and 5 behind, all pulling and pushing, I wonder how they synchronize the output of these truck without ruining a lot of clutches. Then again, as PB said, with a road bill like...
:eek::doh::-(:shock: Then what?
Please do not use the same dates as this year.
First, this is the time that we have our "potato day" event in our blacksmith workshop making lots of kids happy.
Second, most important, I am planning to make 2016 our America year; will post about that...
CUCVLOVER has made a very useful thread and poll for those who could not make it this year. If you are not able to make it but are still reading this thread than you might want to look there as well.
Make sure to go out and meet people. Volunteer for something, it helps to get in contact with people easier. Most of all, don't make my mistake to wait for an official invitation for the campfire. Will not come, but a lot of people most evenings come together somewhere and sit around a fire. I...
Maybe on December 31, we should lock the current pole as historically important point in time, and then start a new pole.
Maybe the admin can help us by sending all members on January 1 a pm with the request-order that everybody should re-vote on the age poll, check their location on the map...
I think that some remarks of the OP got snowed in thanks to the discussion on CDL.
For a first car, unless you have a lot of experience already on private properties, I would not start with either, or if anything, maybe a A3 Deuce variant (or at least one with power steering and dual brake...
Adam, bad luck, glad you manage to get the m190 - (Bella?) to the rally.
As per standard GA Rally procedure, you should inform Sgt. Maj. Rmtaunton about this event, I am sure that he and his team will rise to the occasion.
Too bad I can't be there to help out.
Should be a regular requirement for new members. Add your age in the poll and mark your location on the map.
Did we ever get an option to change our status? Hate to say it, but this year I am getting into a new age category. With the poll now almost 6 years old, that would be useful.
Those rear wheels, I am not sure that they are original for a model H. Seems to be necessary for the ground work in that region since the other tractor and some of the other equipment have steel wheels as well.
The front wheels of the H should have rubber; it has the typical form to accept...
The green that made and kept America
This warrants its own post.
Two same-color machine's that made America.
The typical green John Deere tractor in front of of the Army green. John Deer ploughs were instrumental in opening up and settling the prairie states of America. The old East-coast...
The BBQ at Heavy's Bar-B-Q was good, but with so many people, waiting times were long.
Some more pics from the parking lot
FYI Picture numbers are not always chronological in shooting time because I first numbered them all and then decided that I wanted a non-chronological order that...
At the end of the convoy turning into the BBQ parking lot, I did not see Tailgate Charley, so I tracked back to see what had happened.
One flat tire, the only spot of bother in the convoy. The driver and the kids in the back did not lose their good mood and the tire had been already replaced...
