Hi Joel
We have a email list that was just compiled at our first meeting taking info from the registration forms. Have you filled one out? I can have Andrew mail you one so you will get the emails and contribute to the pot . This is a months notice for you. LOL.. Well a month and 6 days...
Hmmm.. I will only comment on the Michigan MVPA. Our goal is to be (active) in the MV world, premote the hobby through public interaction and education, honor and assist veterans, and save and teach our military history in all its forms.
I know of only 4 major groups in the State
Michigan MVPA...
Oooooooh !..:deadhorse: I shall follow the path of a diplomat on this. My position demands it for now. Let us just brush the dust from our feet and move forward. I will say this.. We have some awesome logos to vote on and after that we shall have some very nice signs for sure..

Come to the meeting and find out. But the founding boards mindset of the MIMVPA is as John Kennedy states, "Ask not what your country can do for you but what YOU can do for your country. Replace country with Michigan MVPA and that is how we differ.
As the year unfolds the differences shall show...
I want to add that if you can not make the meeting and have something you wanted to discuss or you want to join up please email me and I will try to squeeze it on the agenda or send you a membership form.
I also look forward to seeing everyone and preparing for a wonderful year of MV events and...
OdDave shoot me a email at 1cu812@charter.net and I can answer your questions in detail. This is not a "Northern Group" it is a statewide affiliate with the National MVPA. For now we have adopted their mission statement and will support them in any way we can. We already have a few "Southern...

That name was given to the greater Detroit area during WWII by the US media. They produced the bulk of fighting vehicles to help win the War. GMC, Dodge,Cadillac and more.. Its a historic and patriotic name and if the FBI has a problem with it they should read a history book. :soapbox::soapbox...
Looks like a US Airforce truck. Appears to be Strata Blue on the frame. The Canadian trucks have the serial number on the frame dog up near the bumper not that far back near the steering box like the US trucks. It is a DeSoto motor but could be smaller displacement like a 237 or so. That does...
Something that I have ran into with southern warm weather vehicles and dry desert vehicles is once you take them to the great white north anything rubber tends to go to heck. Things brake, get cold and crack and do not adjust well to the cold. Especially -8! lol.. That truck looks like it came...
OK now with more pictures its definitely worth saving. The winch and PTO off that truck are worth $500 to $1000. $1500 would be fair for it IMO. Soon they will all be gone never to be produced like that again.. Save it if you can! I am sure you would not sit on it long if you decided you did not...
Looks complete and not to rusty but hard to be sure the pictures are not that great. You could pull the rear drive shafts and pay a wrecker to haul it. Is it far from you? I would agree don't tow bar it. Worth about $500 and worth saving for sure..
