You have to love the old stuff! Other than being huge it is very straight forward not a bad job. Can you still get gaskets for this or did you use RTV? Still haven't seen any mention of why you are selling her after all you went through to get her. Rick

I have not seen one reference to the vacuum modulator. They do go bad and will cause the no upshift issues that are being mentioned.

That is fine as long as the bearing on the bottom is not bad or if either pin is not scored and worn. I have had to replace the upper king pin on several customers trucks.

Outside of a brake drum, bet that is a bit noisy unless it is on the vehicle.:roll:

You don't need a whole power pack, just a transmission. I don't think I will try rebuilding that one, by the time you buy all the bearing and syncronizers it would be cheaper to buy another transmission. I have rebuilt a couple of them, they are not a lot of fun to get apart, have band-aids...
