John, these are the rims I was telling you about:

I don't have any tires though. Berg had them the last time I checked. You are about 5 hours from me. There always seems to be someone on SS...
OK, now I am confused here. I thought I knew everything there was to know about bolt together rims. The ones on the M52A2 truck above have 16 clamp-ring studs and look just like the rim that M1075 posted in the other thread as a HEMTT 2-piece rim. The rims that John posted have 12 clamp-ring...
Here's a pic of the wheels mounted on a M1076. I'm not sure what the bolt circle measurement is. I also attached a close-up of the hub with the earlier model rim on it.
I saw those rims come up a GL a while back. They are hub-centric with a larger hub opening. The regular 5-ton rims are lug-centric. John Winslow had a set and asked me about them. I didn't know what they were until I saw a M1076 PLS trailer with them on it one day.
Thanks David. If you ever get the hankering to load the Mog up with a cooler and tools, just let me know. It would be a heck of a trip, that's for sure! :)
Don't worry, this thread will be chock full of pics, info, and updates just like the last one!
Thanks Ted. I do need an A2 fan shroud. I have an intake stack handy. I would love to have a brand new one, but the shipping would stink.
Thanks to you too Sean. Sound like you have your hands full with your HMMWV project. Good luck! I'm sure you and Ted will best friends.
The Aneroid Fuel Control valve (AFC) on the injection pump controls the fueling relative to boost or lack thereof.

I was looking at buying one of these trucks a while back. In preparation for that day, I downloaded the manual off of the http://www.logsa.army.mil site. I'm sure the procedure for the throttle linkage adjustment is in there along with troubleshooting for low power. If you don't want to...
Thanks Macon! Yep, the guard base has some clean looking 939-series truck now. I wish I knew someone who worked there so I could go poke around the lot.
Here's the diagram and numbers from the TM. My winch motor seems to be OK, but the hoses were snapped off so I may have to extract some...
RE: Broken Winch Motor Adapter
The radiator mount is still in the truck I bought. I found out the hard way with my 923A2 project that the A0/A1 mounts are different from the A2 mounts. I have a spare A0/A1 mount in my yard if anyone needs it. The grill I might be able to use. I also need a...
Broken Winch Motor Adapter
Some ham-fisted GI ran over something big with the 925A2. It broke the brake housing on the front of the winch as well as the cast adapter that goes between the winch and the hydraulic motor. I have a replacement winch for the truck, but can't seem to locate an...
