i called when my m816 was down stuck.. com wrecker company told me off road recovery was 450.00 per hour.. i too did the lava rocks and timbers they do work:ditto:2cents:p

sorry to hear that about the stolen part.. i to have had a light mysteriously come up missing so i know the feeling .. you would never have thought that a friend would do that with others around but it does happen.

goldneagle in slidell had put a set on his 5ton.. chrome ones but had a key.. seams like they were for a mail jeep. easy to paint them up.. hope he chims in:beer:
i have some lights i just need the plug that goes into the dash.. i can make up a wire so if anyone has a couple of those plugs that will fit my 816 and 818 i would be interested . thanks Tim[thumbzup]

ditto to the post by ralbelt. your best long term bet is to go to competent starter/alt rebuild shop and for under 100 bucks you can get it better than new condtion.. only takes one or two days but worth the wait:ditto:2cents
