I'll double check tonight but, I seem to remember the "G" designator as having to to with the type of electrical shielding.
The Humdinger shelters are fully rectangular as the hummer has no protruding wheel wells. The bed is also shorter than 8'.
The S-250 was made to fit in M880 series stuff...
Welcome aboard and its always good to be able to enable another addict's slide into MV addiction!
As stated, check the toggles at the lower left corner of the dash. The fuse block is on the fire wall left of the steering column. The layout for it is in the -20 manual.
I highly recommend...
Headlights are regulated by the US DOT and, no, amber is not legal. That said, it's all in how fussy the law enforcement is in all hte areas into which you may drive and whether the guy doing you annual safety inspection picks up on it compared to your willingness to risk it.
Amber lights...
A fully charged battery, with clean posts, should read 12.6 volts. Anything less indicates a weak battery.
If you have access to a good voltmeter, remove the cell caps and start next to either post, connect one lead to a post and check each cell in sequence. It may take a few tries to...
Nearly all smaller generators (30 kW or smaller) have "reconnection switches" to allow you to switch a set from single to three phase. Usually the switch is under a fastened cover to keep morons from turning them while the generator is running and from turning them at all if they are not...
The easy thing to say would be to state that, "It's Chris' site, so do what he wants." After all, it's not a democracy, it's a benevolent dictatorship.
That said, whether someone lists a wanted, needed or offered for sale item on the open forum doesn't bother me at all.

It's frustrating that, for many of us, we got into this hobby due to our interest in honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans and...
I cleaned all the connections at the bus bars, took out the starter and cleaned it's connections, cleaned both ends of the engine ground cable. The rear battery is good and shows 12.73 volts.
If I drop the starter again and check power at the solenoid, am I correct in assuming that I need to...
Mike. I haven't dug into the wiring diagrams. There's a link or some such between the two bus bars. It seems to be in rough shape. any idea what it is?
There are some wires with what appear to be links attached to the positive bus and running down from there. I haven't looked in another...
My M1008, which has been used several times a week and had been an easy starting truck, has had some starting issues lately. Previous to this it started up with no issues and cold weather wasn't an issue.
About 3 weeks ago, the start relay died and was replaced with a spare OEM relay. Last...
