    R.I.P.--Dan Dague-Midwest Military

For those who have not heard, Dan Dague from Midwest Military passed away Saturday. If you've ever called into Midwest, you have probably talked to Dan. He was actually supposed to be here in Cheyenne today to go through all of the stuff we have at work. He was very knowledgeable of the MV hobby...

    Working on the M38 next.

All holes are done ready for sand blasting if the weather ever gets better. There wound up being 79 holes I had to weld up. (Some people should not be allowed to use a drill)

    Correct color for USMC M38A1

You might want to check with Midwest Military. I have used Rapco alot but love Midwest's TM9 Ordnance's paint!

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

I didn't see anything removing "Historical Military Vehicles" in that signed law. Looks like someone is over-reaching their authority. I'd be making a lot of calls to my representatives if I lived in Colorado.

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

So where is the actual bill? I have searched but can't find the actual approved law. It seems that HMV's were excluded but the DMV overturned this (which they can't). So who has a copy of it?

2540-00-301-7267 Artic kit Anybody know where I can get one of these?

The pictures in post #8 appear to only be the personal heater portion of the kit. That is the easiest and smallest part of the kit to find. The crate for just the insulated cargo cover alone is at least 4x4x2 feet by itself.

2540-00-301-7267 Artic kit Anybody know where I can get one of these?

The Arctic complete winterization kit consists of 3 parts sets: The personal heater section (which is posted above), the engine/battery components, and the cargo heater and cover. The total is 4+ large crates.

2540-00-301-7267 Artic kit Anybody know where I can get one of these?

So what do you consider a winterization kit? The heater assembly or the insulated cargo cover? I have access to the latter......

    Mighty Mite Questions

That is exactly what I needed! Straight body panels (especially the hood) and check the steering wheel. Anything else hard to find?

I wonder if the MV of month/year should be in the conversations forum to get more looks? We could always move them after closing......

    Mighty Mite Questions

So I am thinking about getting a mighty mite project (like I need another project). So what are the odd quirks about them and what parts are hard to locate, are usually damaged, or things not to do? (I heard jacking from the differential for example). Any common spots to check for damage on a...

    Working on the M38 next.

Finally finished the distributor rebuild (just need to trim the roll pin in the shaft). Parts fought me a lot! Pretty much everything bought from ebay wasn't right: housing, condenser, and points-all wrong. Oh, about the Cosmooline-I cleaned it in the parts washer as best I could, then I put it...
