The Am Bosh pump specs in the link I posted somewhere earlier in the thread say 3200 is max for the pump. Per the chart in the general Multifuel manual TM 9-2815-210-34-2-1, 2800 is max hp for the LDS 465-2, pretty sure Bjorn posted that it has special mods for the RPM. Lightened pistons, etc...
So...been a busy weekend. Went 'wheeling with a 923 (sweet!).
Had a guy mention a deuce for sale close to me. Got in touch with the guy, it's a '70. 5th is out, been sitting a year, lots of back fees owed and some on the loan to buy it, too. He says he's going to pay down the back fees and...
Sound Before valve adjustment, clicky the linky, hope y'all enjoy.

Before, oil pressure come-up after sitting overnight. Also miss and valvetrain noise...
Donor truck, has air shift with rear PTO. Wish it had a trans, mine rattles badly in 1 and 5. One more thing to look at.
Snagged a parking brake lever, it was very rusted in to the shoe, took the big press to get it out. Noise and violence.
The trans cover from my truck, I think it...
I can upload straight from my iphone, but they go sideways half the time. Just gotta figure that out. The phone is horrible to type on, but has talk to text which is really nice, but I need to get better at...
Phbckt is set to upload 640 by 480, but sometimes the forum still tells me file is too big. I just uploaded a bunch the other night and was going to post them, but they won't post. Probably have to delete and reload all of them. I resize to 400 x 400 and it still tells me too big. Sometimes...
Well, this is embarrassing. It actually does fit. I just had to start it 180° from the way it was or wants to go in because it's kind of bent and force it in and I got to go all the way down and screw in. Sorry
After reading that thread, it looks like mine is already in the "correct" forward position, but it ain't right. I can't get it alll the way down and screwed in, and if I pull it in or out with the engine running, I can feel the crank or something hitting it. It's bent and hits against the side...
Something about relocating when a 5ton engine is put in a deuce. Flip oil pan around, etc. The guy with the big red bobber did it.

Something about relocating when a 5ton engine is put in a deuce. Flip oil pan around, etc. Gotta search it up unless I get lucky and somebody comes by and 'splains me. The guy with the big red bobber did it.
Was gonna relocate dipstick, but block isn't tapped for dipstick in the forward boss, LDT block with LDS turbo...? More investigating required...
Oil leak down the side of the block looks like it's coming from the exh mani stud, there is an exh leak there. Maybe the studs penetrate the oil...
I'm roughing it...gauge goes to 60, it was about 10 psi past that...I'm pretty sure the LDS is up to 75 or 80 psi. I think some of the booster pumps said 80 psi on them. Course mine supposedly isn't a LDS pump, but who knows, maybe an inj pump guy made it close to what it oughta be.
I'm happy...
Gotcha. She's been runnin a couple weeks. Adjusted the valves tonight, some were very loose, purrs now. might check out my threads in the deuce section, kind of an interesting truck IMO, but I'm biased.
EDIT-thread in my sig
Adjusted the valves tonight. Most of them were a few thou tight, but 4, 5, and 6 exhaust were looser and looser, 6 being maybe 1/16" loose. I took some videos.
Purrs like a mountain lion now.
Oh oh and per the LDS troubleshooting manual no load test, 3,000 RPM. Zoinks!
About 70 psi at the...
I've been working on it. I'm about halfway through I think. I'm mostly trying to nail down specific differences in the pumps so that I can make the best of my pump without spending a grand or two on the correct pump for the LDS.
Thanks
I am a fast reader, and can scan quickly. I also use CTRL-F to search pages for terms, but when a thread is 50 pages long, clicking through them takes forever.
...aha! I found in settings where I can change how many posts are displayed per page. I changed it to 40. Biiig difference, don't...
I think I saw yours somewhere while I was searching the forum for the procedure already, saved the pic, thanks. Your linky no worky though. :-)
I think I will use one of my injector holders while I have them out, as I don't have an extra. Sure wish I had and extra blown up engine around to...
