I feel a TM comment coming, so here it is...
TM 9-2320-272-10 , Page 154.
You should only need the hoist and the tire chain as long as everything on the davit is there. It's a cool idea. The TM has perfect steps...
Fellow M925A2 owner here. I've been on a recovery with my seller to get an M934A2. TX to Colorado. We flew in, had no idea if the engine even ran (drained), and after some troubleshooting and some maintenance, we got her running again. The airline will take 50lbs of luggage without fee, get...
Yes, I did brush this one, and the paint self leveling is pretty awesome. I will be spraying the rest, but couldn't help myself in doing a couple of other spots.. Once you start though, you can't stop... It looks too good.
YIKES. I know the yard pretty good now, Glen and the boys are BUSY. That pile used to be just axles, now it's another pile of truck frames, and it's been regraded. I'm coming out soon.
Fáilte from Colorado, the States! Spent some time in Dublin for a side trip from business. Loved your country. The wife came back with a severe love of Irish whiskey. She won't touch anything else! Please post some picts!
Received a call from the radiator shop, he said it was all rotten inside and would be like $150 to recore it. Either I will go grab another one from Glen or try to try the Ford heater core as some have done.

That's a NICE masking job. Did you get 12V USB's? Hook them to the 12V battery, or do something else cool like 24V ones? I am thinking about this too! Got a part # or a pict?
If you read till the end of the torque rod thread you see that the heater core was leaking on its way back from the heavy truck repair. The take apart was followed by this thread, post #9.

Easy, but a bit messy trying to get it out. I...
The next task was to remove and replace the torque rods. The TM says to remove tires, so I asked the smart peeps if this was really necessary. This thread captures the question, then the saga of removal, frustration, money and success.

Figure I need to catch up on the posts.
The LQ-2 fixed the air issue as expected. It was a snap to put on. It was a maddening brake and then high RPM to get the air back, all while the low alarm was screaming away.
So, with the new valve on, I was able to put the car into a 4th of July...
Went to replace a bulb, and found this, so replaced the whole housing, don't know which part had the problem to let water in. Found this is how some private put a light assembly together, what's wrong with this picture? Took out a leaking heater core for a repair.
Well, their labor charge is $160 an HOUR! They did both front dogbones on each side, so I got two done. I am calling tomorrow to at least ask why the heck didn't they call when it exceeded 2X of the estimate. GRRR... Again, buyer beware, and ALWAYS get a WRITTEN estimate is my lesson...
I got some dogbones at Glen's, but also a NOS. They are available at auction and a couple of people here.
EDIT: I just saw you asked how I rebuilt them. I did not rebuild the ends (yet). I used a complete NOS assembly on one, and another full assembly I took off another truck. I can't find...
Yeah no kidding. I asked for the estimate on the dogbones, they said $600 max, called me about the radiator said everything was done, but didn't have a cost. Called this AM to ensure it was done. they said $1400! and that's with no radiator repair, just a pressure test. Going up...
They called, said the dogbones were good, but found a leak in the heater core and the "tanks" on the side of the radiator. So, one problem solved, one more cropped up. Don't know how much the total is yet, let you all know, but dogbone issue looks like it's solved!
