The number is 1MB41886. I don't know squat about these, I guessed the MB 41 made it a WW2. I do know it has the single pulley setup from a CJ2A which I am thinking of swappimg with the origional.
I don't know who exactly rebuilds them, but they came from Midwest Military. They look great. As soon as I called about the problem they knew exactly what was the matter and said they would deal with the warranty and I had these within a couple days. Very happy with their service!
Not my shop, it's the Laramie County Community College Auto Technology shop. (I seem to have taken over my own section) :shock: I got the brake parts painted and new carb arrived today!
So the M37 is way smaller than a deuce, so what did they carry in the back and how was it stowed? Any inside pics would be great. Thinking of building one with my 2nd M37.
It is a solvent; if you ever plan on doing any kind of a quality paint job after you spray anything like that on paint you will have massive issues getting another good paint job without fish-eyes ETC.
Also, if using RAPCO, park it outside for a month or so and it will "flatten out" naturally.
