Hey guys it looks like I will be buying group 31s If I buy these batteries all the stock battery cable in the deuce will be long enough and ll I have to do is bolt them in place and I am good, is that correct?
KK
Good Morning folks and if this is a stupid question you have my apologies and yes I have also searched the forums prior to posting this. OK with that out of the way here is my question. I am picking up a new Deuce on Saturday and need to bring batteries with me to get the truck started, I...
Good Afternoon YB I have a question for you concerning the AC units on my 280? It si my understanding that before they go to GL all the freon is evacuated out of them, is this true? the other question I have is are these units capable of both providing cooling AND heating for the inside of the...
Good Eve YB I have a question on how you secured you 280 in the bed of your Deuce, I believe I saw the things that looked like they went in the bed pockets and then it looked like you cabled the 280 down to those devices, I am going to need those attachement points for my 280, may I ask where...
YB what do you know about thses AC Units I sure do not think I will ever need a backup for anything but if I kept one on are they usable for summer cooling, are they extremely noisy and bothersome? are they worth anything if I decide I dotn want either of them on the Shelter? As usual I have...
Yellowbronc thanks much for sharing these pics I just purchased an S-280 from a very nice fellow in MS it should be up to ND next week and my plans are similar to yours, and by the way you did some mighty fine work on this unit and have given me some very good ideas on how to do mine. Did you...
Jon in looking at your pics I just relived all the time, work and labor I went through a year and a half ago restoring my 71 M-35A2 every little victory feels like heaven and every completed aspect is another step closer to the GOAL! You restored yous just about exactly like I did my truck...
hey guys I used Rhino lining for the inside floor and up the back of my Deuce I love the stuff and since they are the prefered Govt supplier of this material you can get it in Goverment Green or in our world Olive Drab, looks great and sure works well

Lowtech I think that is going to work very well, I used FATMAT sound insulation under/inside my tranny cover then Rhino lined everything on the floor and up the back of the cab, it workd very well but I think yours is going to be better from both the heat and noise factor very nice work also...

gabaddog you ask a very good question and as is always the case there are MANY variables the first one is what kind of shape is it in? How much rust, and how bad is that rust? What kind of shape is the interior in, the mileage on it IF and that is a big IF in fact it really only has 8K (dont...
GE send me your own email address I promise to keep my floor pics to a minimum so as not to fill up your email box, or even better I posted the pics on SS under the thread Deuce is Done!!! and my name is karl Kostman that might help you find it also GE, but if not let me know your email address...
GE your 109 is looking absolutley better every time I tune in to this channel, one thing I did to my Deuce as far as sound deadening in the cab was to Rhino line it, this went over the floor completely and up the back side of the cab to the point where the hard top bolts to, its not hard to...

You know I am by no means a purist when it comes to our trucks and I have seen some incredibley impressive/inventive bobbers BUT the concept of of taking a plasma cutter to my truck frame would scare the heck out of me, Talk about committed to a project? WOW you boys are much braver than I to...
Good Afternoon Peashooter you know what I did not win the bid on that truck I think it ended around 4626.00 and I stopped at 4226.00 and to be honest I was kind of glad I did not go any further when I thought about the GL fees and my cost of getting it home I was OK with not winning, I had...
Good Morning GE yesterday I bid the 109 in Sparta up to 4226.00 and stopped there, it was down to me and one other person and I figured by the time all fees and transport to get the truck home I would have been well over 5K invested and all this is still site unseen. Tha is OK though there will...
