I just bought a dozen 11:00 x 20 NDCC. If you are in the Dallas area and need some, the extras will be cheap. The last six were new. I suspect these are in the same condition. I need one for a spare on the M135. On the other hand, they could be dry rot junk. Quien sabe?

WD40 evaporates causing future problems. I always use a long term lubricant.

I am going to put no seize grease on them when they are remounted. Just have to put new tires, flaps and tubes in them, one at a time.

Bingo! Well, duh, do I feel dumb. I noticed the L on the nuts but did not trip to it. All it takes is a ten pound sledge now.

My lug nuts are tough to break loose. I used a long pipe over the normal wrench handle, no luck. I then stuck a 20 jack under the wrench handle, no luck. Anyone got an idea what to try? These lug nuts have not been off in years.

If you like this stuff, the War Museum in Ottawa has many, many trucks, tracks and such. Wonderful museum. I once talked my way into Vimy House, the big warehouse, to look at the German armor. Wonderful place.

I will use the marker lights on the front, replaced with amber lens, and two of the regular brake lights. The flasher is the standard M series with the standard M series turn signal. I think it will work out swell.

I just this week got a NOS cab harness and the cab to rear end NOS harness for the M135. Now all I need is the cab to headlights harness and the headlight harness to complete the wiring. I have contacted Vintage Wiring about the Douglas to Packard adapters. Back to painting.
