I had a non running vehicle loaded up by a "totalled vehicle" auction place once. That is the only way to go.
Unloading it was a whole different story.
Everything is good besides the price and you have to have an air supply. They are the best of both worlds of an open diff and a locker.
That being said, I have no experience with a CUCV kit but air lockers are great.
Generally yes but I am also not stupid. Some of my best memories involve getting stuck. Of course that is in normal vehicles.
I am a "go for it" kinda guy. What can I say?
We just had a similiar thread. Plan on some kind of fix for the soft top. The stitching being rotten at the front seems to be a common problem. Tape, glue, or a local place to stitch it should be a consideration.

Looks like a good time. I took mine lightly off roading a while back. If I had that Cat handy I definitely would have had more fun in the mud. Even with three regular 4x4s I think it would have been a battle to get it out.
