    I see tons of 6.2 burbans in CA all the time. But you can swap a 6.2 in to the truck. look for a manual for a 6.2 burb to help.

    you might need to change the spring mounts but that's just some grinding and welding. i don't know how heavy a tug is but if it had a Dana 70 in it, It would most likely kill the M1009 10 bolt.

    um not so sure about that. the only reason the mil went to a 12 bolt over an 8 bolt was because some of the humvees were pushing 18,000#'s running weight. They then went to a 24 bolt because they now are pushing some over 20,000#'s running weight.
