Starting doing some snooping around for a source on these (spurred by a Parts Wanted posting). Cummins wants almost $900 for their NSN for this item... I know for a fact that its a buy-in for them (and of course if you know how to scour the web by NSN, you can ascertain certain manufacturers...
Look at what the damn fuse holder goes for these days... and out of stock almost everywhere: https://us.rs-online.com/product/bussmann-by-eaton/fhn26g1/70149872/
I've been whittling away my parts stash over the last 6-8 months helping other SS users in a bind with availability now... but I...
A few folks have reached out to me over the last six months, looking for replacement radiators for their gensets. These items are very rare at the surplus/auction site level that I have seen and experienced, but are pretty important to these machines long term upkeep (and use when needed)...

If you are not picking up in person, you may experience unprecedented challanges/costs in moving equipment out. YMMV.
Came into my inbox, sharing with anyone that can use it. Your mileage may vary. Their site does carry Onan items too.

Anyone have a name and a number? Need to pull a trailered item out, and I can't stand dealing with the idiots on the Gov Planet customer support line. Thanks

This same item was listed for a little over $11k just a month ago!
There is a 900lb genset I am interested in, that the current owner has no ability to pick up/load. I am looking to see if anyone is in the area with the ability to get it picked up and skidded (just placed on a normal 48x40 pallet). I can take care of the freight out... just kind of need someone...

Has anyone come across a gov printed copy of the -24 for either the 802 or 803? I have the 10 and the 24P (and a manual printed -24) but I'd love to find an issued copy of the -24. Thanks
Just stumbled upon it... interesting reading if anyone is interested in the nuts and bolts of testing on these sets.

Looking to buy a piece of equipment (generator). I am looking for assistance from a reputable SS member, as its a fair amount of money. Happy to talk turkey by private message if anyone is able to assist. Thanks
Crosses over to WIX 15398. Does anyone have one of the shelf, they might be able to take measurements of? Cant seem to find the gasket kits available anywhere right now... so Id like to just buy up some viton gaskets of the same dimensions to go with my filter stock (just replenished).
Thanks...
Need to pull a genset out of Chambersburg. ALL of the major freight carriers are performing terribly right now. Would like to see if someone coming this way wants to make a few bucks on hauling for me. Thanks
Just thought I would share some pictures of what I mounted up on my 802 the other day.
These products serve two very distinct needs in these sets
1.) Make sure your batteries are operational when you need them
2.) Onboard backup should your alternator fail under use
