Just put new U joints on the deuce... and observed while taking the old ones apart that the greasing I had been doing was not getting to all the bearings... so while I had the new ones assembled in the driveshafts but still on the bench I gave them each a generous greasing... and saw that I only...

OK.. so my driveshafts are off for new u joints... and have made the following observations... The input shaft to the front differential ( the one with the flanges) has some fore and aft free play... feels like alot but is probably 20 to 40 thousnadths... I can just see it move... the rears...
