Just got a letter that Fort Knox GL is under new management. Now they want me to clear up the record for the removal of my property.
I don't wish anybody out of a job, but Marcus was generally undependable.
I figured out my trucks bumper markings... She came from the 149th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Division HQ truck 21st vehicle... Kentucky National Guard Louisville KY
This is a very simple modification you can do in just a few minutes with a pair of channel locks and a pair of vice grips. The entire install costs less than 10.00 and gives you usable air for airing up tires, running small impact wrenches, pneumatic grinders, air chisels etc. You can also use...
In order to better explain the cooling system in relation to block heaters I went over my truck and made a video. This should help people make a more informed decision about what type of plug in heater to use and where to locate it.
I have been of the belief that the 10 K bid deposit on some items is for items that they know will end over that amount and is an easy way to make sure the bidder has the money available. Lately; I have noticed more and more that they are placing a 10 K bid deposit on more and more items that...
One of the trucks I just picked up from Frankfort as a pretty steady coolant leak dripping off of the back of the engine. I tried to follow it upwards but can see up far enough to see exactly where it is coming from and cannot see it from the top. It is running down the right side of the engine...
Who has this system on their deuce and where do you buy your replacement cylinders? I have looked at them online and 30.00 seems expensive for a can of ether.
Anybody try using propane instead? The spontaneous combustion point of propane VS ether is only 50 deg difference.
I went to pick one up Yesterday at Frankfort and after killing 2 hrs waiting for Marcus with GL to show up I gave up because I had an appointment I had to go to in the afternoon. This is the 4th time I have had an appointment to meet him out there and the third time he didn't show up. I hope he...
I didn't think they were going to start replacing the HMMWV until 2012, but I saw 5 JLTVs on semis headed south this week. They starting to phase out the HMMWV early?
If anybody does not know what i am talking about here it is...
It is amazing that a blown tire can total out a HMMWV. I talked with a MP on base to find out what happened to it and he said they took her out and brought her back with a blown tire and a tore up fender and rear door. She is going to scrap.
Thought you guys might enjoy the picture.
All the the talk about bikes and lawn mowers and such requiring EUCs got me thinking about some of the things I have wondered about in the past. The one item that I looked at in disbelief that took the cake for me was a horse. Yes a real live army horse at Fort Sam Houston if I remember...
I plan on putting a plow on my new deuce next summer. I am hoping to use a minute mount plow so that the frame can come off as I don't want it on the truck in the summers. I will have to figure out how to run a 12 v pump on a 24 v truck. If the minute mount proves to small for the truck I will...
I notice that the box on the EUC for your phone number says that it must be a land line to your physical address or it will delay the approval. I don't have a land line and don't really know many people anymore who do. Guess my turn around time is not going to be quick:-(
