thats right the 3116 has the mechanical pump and the 3126 has the electronic pump. Thanks Cliff

Cat 3126 I think the 3A has the Cat 3126 motor in it and most small road trucks had the Cat 3126 or the Cummins 5.9 as a option. I had a 3126 in my Freightliner and it was a DOG with a 7 speed trans. No big demand for that motor in my book. Cliff
