Say I wanted a deuce that had a/c, more power, and was quiet and comfy and stuff. Why not get a 2wd F-550 or so and stick the deuce t-case and axles under it?

Thinking about using a deuce for off road towing/recovery. Ever seen one with a bed mounted winch? Flat bed with the droptail or rolling tail board like the oil field trucks?

How about instead of taking one axle off a deuce you started with a tractor and put a stubby bed on it. Then you'd be shorter and still have 6 wheel drive. has it been done?
Got a customer doing a canal lining project in the sand and we need to get some flotation tires on the conveyor dolly ASAP. Has some old 20" split wheels on it with that lug pattern.
