M35A3 master cylinder leaking at shft under boot

My thoughts exactly , that if it is leaking, it has to be address no matter what. I can't have the brakes "disappear" all of the sudden on this thing. I appreciate the honing advise, I wasn't sure if I had to take it to a machine shop. I hope the o- ring trick works because the the vendors I...

After searching several threads I don't think this particular problem has been covered. The brakes work fine I just have to keep an eye on the fluid levels. I have a slight leak after use, coming from the under the boot from the main shaft that attaches to the brake pedal under the body. I...

    Gear oil in CTIS line

Are there any other parts I should replace or tackle while I'm inside of there? This will be my first time digging into a Rockwell axle, all my experience relates to Jeep Dana axles. Do you happen to know the part number for Eric's on that golden bearing I wouldn't mind having a spare one on...

So one of the tires CTIS will not work and tire goes flat over night. I go to change out the tire and when I disconnected the the fitting on the hollow lug nut where air passes through, gear oil dumps out. Does anyone know off hand what causes this failure, I'm guessing its some seal on the...

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

Yeah, they both looked pretty corroded, but i was not getting voltage at the connector, so im not sure if they are good yet. I'm not sure what the resistance reading should be on the fixture to know if its good until I get power back there.

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

Perfect, thanks, that pretty much means its the transmission backup switch or the fuse near it. If that not it, it, it is the light switch which isn't cheap.

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

No apology required, I understand that there are people who do not take safety stuff seriously and that does not sit well with folks as it can make the rest of the OD community look bad. As someone who enforces MV laws amongst other things, I can tell you that I do. SOmetimes a technical...

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

I am not referring to the lowest portion of the taillight, I am referring to the 2 backup lights mounted on the back. they look like this. http://www.eriksmilitarysurplus.com/baliform301.html also the state of NH requires that if they are present, they must work.

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

well would it be unreasonable to assume that the white lights on the rear of a vehicle that do not seem to have an independent switch might be some type of a backup light that could be switched by place the vehicle in reverse?

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

"Hi, I was wondering if someone could tell me how to program my radio on my 2013 Chevy silverado?" Response: "for heaven's sake, read the owners manual before you get someone killed you maniac, or return it to the dealership." FYI, I fairly competent with vehicle maintenance and safety, thus...

Thanks for the second back handed comment, instead of just answering the question if you do know the answer. I know I was addressing a huge safety hazard that endangered other motorist with my reverse lights.

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

I have 3 kids under the age of 3 and full time job that requires aproxx 60 hours of my time a week. I wish I had time to read a 250 manual on driving my "toy" but its not really in the cards. That why I asked.

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

Is there any special sequence of events that need to occur to get these to turn on.I replaced both the bulbs on the reverse lights in my m35a3, that were blown. I just want to make sure there is not a special order of switches, brake lever, shifter that have to be done in order for them to turn...
