I can answer. ROEOD is on the road road a lot driving a tractor trailer for a living so not much done other than what we did to the brakes and axle seals.
The truck is sitting at my place. We are trying to get the turn signals to work and having a time dealing with the old wiring.

You can't mix the two. Usually when a truck was converted by the Army they put a label to note silicon only.
Mine was DOT 3 fluid I am sure.
To change, the whole system has to be either changed out or flushed really good.

Friday was rain and misting rain. Saturday was rain and thunder. We had a good time and found some good parts.
By 1pm though we bugged out and headed to Ocala and saw the Monuments Men. It was good and worth seeing. Lots of WWII equipment to see!
If you have the maint manual on page 340 and 341 it says to add 12 quarts of the oil. Capacity is around 16 quarts. But needs to be topped up by running and checking the dip stick.

I have been going for 4 years and it gets bigger each year. It's not as big as the MVPA national or Aberdeen for people selling stuff. But its way more relaxed. Last year it was nice and warm during the day. I have been able to find good parts that I need each year.

Well a bit of good news. Once it got above 30F outside we took the fuel pump assembly out of the tank. Found the hose disconnected at the top end. The pump looks brand new. We tested it and it ran fine so we put a new clamp on the hose. Once back in the tank we put a 7 amp slow blow fuse...
I have not gotten to the air compressor side of the truck yet. I bet that line will break like the other side did. Oh well sumpten to add to the long, long list.
