Agree-its in a bad spot. I have adjusted the nut on mine. After much contorting, I found a deep socket with several extensions on it and a ratchet allowed me to adjust the tension. My box has a removable panel on the front of the box-look to see if yours does. Take it off and see if you can get...
I like that tire carrier. McMaster Carr has simple davit arm cranes that would work great mounted in bed. Picture of my A36 on 395 Goodyears. Other picture is A35 on big Michelins with stock wheels.
I like the Goodyears better.

Agreed. Every other A3 I have seen has the duct hose torn up if not crusted out. I did replace my compressed air hose that goes from the frame to the pitman air. The braded hose seemed to leak and create real hard steering. Replaced with cammozzi fittings -90 degress elbow and push fit hose...
I will install the hose from steering arm, along original route and then pass just through the groumet hole in fender. That is the point where I will connect original hose. Heat should not be issue-soon will find out.

I disconnected the blue X at the frame-then poured MM in till it was full. Re connect and drive around. Did that a couple times with about an hour run time in between. Mine works really good-not as good as hyd steering but nearly.
My hose is shot so I have replaced it with a vinyl hose picked up from a local Menards store. Its a 1" OD x 3/3" ID hose that I am splicing in. It simply takes exhaust air from steering to intake. I have found the standard A3 ducting hose is usually in good shape in the engine bay but pretty...
Both my trucks (A3) have air pressure drop from about 120 to 90 when turning. The pressure comes right back up after turn. Sound like maybe your air cylinder is leaking.
Feel the discharge air ports when having someone turn the wheel. These are on the bottom of pitman arm. Exhasutr air comes out...
I took off the hose that supplies compressed air to top of actuator pitman arm. Filled it up with mystery oil. Made my steering much better. I did experience an issue with the pressure regulator just inside the frame when compressed air is supplied to pitman arm. The regulator had a leak. Took...
I found my speedo was way off. When I switched to 395 Goodyears I found my speedometer to be dead on. I verified it with a GPS. I typically run mine around 2400 RPM and 50 MPH.

The bicycle trail that starts at the missippi headwaters in mi nine sorta has now been completed to the gulf of Mexico. It runs parallel to the river. Just how in the world are they funding this? Bike riders? Naw.
There are makers and there are takers. Evidenced by no requirement for black box...
The company is even called "Progressive"!!! Most people getting the camera deal are the same folks on facebook giving up all of there personal stuff. Lots of sheep giving up not by sword but by pen or computer in this case.

MN is a great place all year round. They do however spread salt after a snow. It makes a mess of things and is really seldom needed. Typical storms blow through on a low pressure followed by high pressure-the high pressure results in colder temps-the salt does not really work when its cold out...
Yes-the black boxes are only for new cars going forward. Older ones like GM units with OnStar are already capable of being tracked.
Consider that once most of the vehicles on the road have a black box, data mining can begin in earnest. Vehicles could also be "shut-off".
Sure seems like a mess...
