I just had a thought.....let me know what you think.....
Theoretically, if the towed vehicle/trailer experiences an airline failure....it would drain both the towed vehicle/trailer air supply, as well...
If you hear the low air buzzer come on......downshift, downshift, downshift & roll to a stop. It does not take long to stop unless you are going down a big hill.

#1 - Dont tell anyone here where it is at. Or they will beat you to it.
#2 - The transmission fluid could have all leaked out & never refilled......that would screw it up quick.

Just use a canvas tarp from Tractor Supply.
Thats what I am using to make my bikini deuce top this summer :)
Like cranetruck did ---> CANVAS BIKINI TOP FOR THE M35
I just won an auction up in good old Ft Drum, NY. It was one lot with 4 trailers. One of the trailers I am going to be making into a Pig Cooker/Smoker Trailer.
I dont know if I want to use a 275 HHO tank, or a 250-300 gallon round fuel tank. I have both here, but I dont know which way to go...
:ditto:
If its been sitting for years you will need....
Oil/filter change = $100
Fuel filter change = $30
10 tires/tubes/flaps = $1000-$2000
Gear oil for all 3 axles = $100
DOT5 brake fluid = $50
etc
etc
etc
It might not be a "steal" @ $1000!

Your backhoe is longer & weighs more......so if you can pull it, you can pull a deuce.
If you cant fit between the fenders, you should remove the 4 outside wheels from the two rear axles & back on your trailer. Deuces are about 8 ft wide I think.
CARNAC --- Lets see what this brings up!

In Virginia you are EXEMPT from CDL requirements IF you are using for personal use only. You can NOT do anything to make $$$ (including "farm use").
I have talked with the DOT officials & state police at the weigh station. Both told me I can drive my M818 w/M872 40ft semi trailer LOADED...
I like 5 tons MUCH better......but.....the front weighs a LOT more & will sink in the mud (as I recently found out.....30 seconds to get stuck, 10 hours to get unstuck).
If you do a 5 ton truck....make sure you get one with a winch or you will be very sorry.
