    Selectro Hubs

I'm leaning towards OEM just because I want to do a back axle in addition to the front and I might as well keep everything the same.

    Selectro Hubs

How much do they run? Can you PM me a good point of contact?

Dumb question about using gas in multifuel diesel

I ran out of fuel when I first got the deuce (learning the accuracy of the gauge) so we put in 5 gallons of gas and two quarts oil. It started right back up fine and ran down to the station a couple days later for a proper fill up. I usually dump in all the leftover ATV gas after DIRTBAG to...

    New whistler turbo?

What are we TRYING for? A prize?

    Towbar Incident Report

Does your insurance cover you to tow? More importantly, have you gotten it patched up yet? How is that old girl doing?

    Towbar Incident Report

The tow bar manual also says - "TOWING CAN BE FUN!"

    Towbar Incident Report

I thought we were talking deuce flat towing deuce here. While I understand you may not give a hoot and that is your right not to give said hoot, in the bigger picture I wonder if the majority of the insurance companys that cover MVs (deuces in this case) give a hoot. I don't ask that to be...

    Towbar Incident Report

What's involved in rigging that up? Seems like something I would want in my tool box. Is this common and just not discussed? Are a majority of people tapping into the towed deuces brakes? Anyway, would love to hear more how you do this - PM me when you have time. Thanks.

    Towbar Incident Report

Does anyone flat tow a deuce and use the towed deuce's brakes? I haven't seen any discussion on that before, maybe I've missed it.

    Towbar Incident Report

Flat towing using a tow bar? NEVER. Your point about certification and INSURANCE is a good one. I wonder what most MV insurers would think about flat towing a deuce down the freeway? I'm not going to call mine and ask, but it does make me wonder.

    Towbar Incident Report

Seems like we have the exact SAME view points. Every time I hit the road I carry a decent set of tools, a few spare parts, a sense of humor and several credit cards.

    Towbar Incident Report

 Luckily for you the current price of quality tar is probably too high for someone to bother. Nice discussion though. If tow baring over 15 (or even 30) were "illegal", what impact would it have on the hobby? I don't completely agree that all it will take is one deuce to get loose...

What exactly is an EUC for?

I didn't have a torque wrench, but I snugged the lugs up good with my 3/8s HF impact. I'm not sure how long they'll hold DH.

    Towbar Incident Report

The ability to tow bar is the only thing keeping some folks in the hobby. If it weren't for the ability to flat tow, a lot of deuce owners would be SOL. Imagine if you had to get a flatbed or a wrecker every time you needed to move a broke deuce or when you bought three from GL and only have...

What exactly is an EUC for?

Someone needs to check the lugnuts - the wheels on this bus are coming off. :driver:

11:00x20 duals on Deuce with snow chains

Yeah, it's been COLD here lately too. Lower 50s. Sucks to have to look for a jacket once in awhile. LMK if you need pics or measurements of a deuce running 11.00 x 20s.

11:00x20 duals on Deuce with snow chains

I can get pics or measurements if you like, but I can't give you an answer. I don't think I'll EVER need chains.

    1400s on 816

Power I can understand - but MILEAGE? What's the difference between getting less than 10 and getting less than 10? It's all bad.

    Bad fuel from big station

Your fuel pretty much comes from the same place no matter what the station. Fuel moves it way through the refinery system until it gets to the terminal. The terminal stores the fuel in massive tanks and can store products from many different companies in the same tank, since base products are...

What exactly is an EUC for?

Many auction houses use a buyers premium. The thing about GSA is it's like getting that hand me down Chevy Chevette from your older sister. Your parents bought it new, gave it to your sister after it sat for a few years, she beat the crap out of it and now you have it. Same with a lot of GSA...
