I ran out of fuel when I first got the deuce (learning the accuracy of the gauge) so we put in 5 gallons of gas and two quarts oil. It started right back up fine and ran down to the station a couple days later for a proper fill up.
I usually dump in all the leftover ATV gas after DIRTBAG to...
I thought we were talking deuce flat towing deuce here.
While I understand you may not give a hoot and that is your right not to give said hoot, in the bigger picture I wonder if the majority of the insurance companys that cover MVs (deuces in this case) give a hoot.
I don't ask that to be...
What's involved in rigging that up? Seems like something I would want in my tool box.
Is this common and just not discussed? Are a majority of people tapping into the towed deuces brakes?
Anyway, would love to hear more how you do this - PM me when you have time. Thanks.
Flat towing using a tow bar? NEVER.
Your point about certification and INSURANCE is a good one. I wonder what most MV insurers would think about flat towing a deuce down the freeway? I'm not going to call mine and ask, but it does make me wonder.
Seems like we have the exact SAME view points.

Luckily for you the current price of quality tar is probably too high for someone to bother.
Nice discussion though. If tow baring over 15 (or even 30) were "illegal", what impact would it have on the hobby?
I don't completely agree that all it will take is one deuce to get loose...
The ability to tow bar is the only thing keeping some folks in the hobby. If it weren't for the ability to flat tow, a lot of deuce owners would be SOL. Imagine if you had to get a flatbed or a wrecker every time you needed to move a broke deuce or when you bought three from GL and only have...
Yeah, it's been COLD here lately too. Lower 50s. Sucks to have to look for a jacket once in awhile.
LMK if you need pics or measurements of a deuce running 11.00 x 20s.
Your fuel pretty much comes from the same place no matter what the station. Fuel moves it way through the refinery system until it gets to the terminal. The terminal stores the fuel in massive tanks and can store products from many different companies in the same tank, since base products are...
Many auction houses use a buyers premium.
The thing about GSA is it's like getting that hand me down Chevy Chevette from your older sister. Your parents bought it new, gave it to your sister after it sat for a few years, she beat the crap out of it and now you have it. Same with a lot of GSA...
