super cool!!!

The CCKW drive line is a nice conversion and makes the truck quite driveable. I’m not saying that the auto trans is not a good transmission but they can have “quirks” that can be frustrating at times. Nice trucks including the one’s in the other thread as well.

Had it happen when I was in school with my cavalier on the highway, the latch rusted right off the hood. Scared the crap out of me!

I’m having the same problem. As you can see It will let me reply on a existing one so I don’t feel completely cut off.

I like the upgrades[thumbzup] but when I read your title of "adding bells and whistles" I was thinking more along these line.

I do it all the time with my truck. Others might tell you the shaft size on the second gear is a weak point, but I think it would only be a issue if the truck was fully loaded. Bottom line is it is your truck and you know what it likes.
