All trucks I have ever owned have had the fuel primer on the dashboard disconnected or removed. I was just wondering
1. was this done on all the trucks?
2. was it done for safety?
3. is there any harm in reconnecting mine?
4. How beneficial is having It anyway?
Thing that keep me up at night.
I think the old straight frame Michigan 55AG wheel loaders from the 1950's used that same engine.
I have a smilier gen set to run my spot light and if I could add one thing It would be not to run it to long under load with the side covers open as it will cause the generator to over heat It...

How hard is it too find parts? Brakes and drive train ect.
My M215 is hard to find parts for however this M62 looks like drive train is just heavy truck stuff that I could by from any truck shop, Is this right?

Their thermal breakers and reset after the short is removed or the tempicher in the wires goes down. Keep looking for other shorts. Could be the the fire dept. installed some thing different.

Why not? If I'm not mistaken the transfercase on these trucks is a under drive and then the 6:17 gearing makes for some light work for that transmission.
Maybe I'm not getting why It's not a good choice help me under stand before I do this to one of my trucks.
