The truck is a running driving m35a2. My last choice is to drive it home. I have injuries that prevent me sitting or using my legs for very long. Also you may have heard that an epidemic of drug abuse and overdose has caused the veterans administration to stop narcotic pain treatment.
The truck with flag is my avatar pic but the hood is now on. The winch truck is one I am working on now. The bed is almost ready for paint. Just for fun I painted the door cow cammo to see how it would look with the white cargo cover. By the time warm weather is here the truck will be in primer...
Thank the lord I am not alone, I am also new to computers. My collage age daughters don't understand how I don't know anything about a pc. However they cant drive a m35 or build a fire in the wood stove.
Sale canceled due to seller not having a title. I bought a truck from a member here instead. My new truck is in nj and needs to me moved to ma. before the 18 this month.
The question of why I need to know the height with the taller tires and shelter in place has been asked. I am driving this truck from nj, to ma. Should I have a need to be towed or trailered I want the info handy. I will also be towing a m105 with a shelter on it as well.
This post is about preserving canvass winch covers. I found that spraying boiled linseed oil on winch covers made them waterproof again. I thinned the blo with either lacquer thinner or enamel not sure. Almost any solvent may work. Warning blo on shop rags has been known to spontaneously combust...
I have purchased a m35a2 from ss member hainebd. I will be driving from mays landing nj to Amherst ma. next weekend. I will be posting the route as soon as I know it. If you are along this route and are able to offer help or support if needed I would appreciate it. I will also be towing a m105...
I don't have a 831 but I do have a 6kw generator with the yanmar diesel as sold by central Maine diesel. That gen set has a shutdown that uses a fuel pump with a solenoid that shuts the fuel off.
The truck I bought fromHainebd in the classified section has a shelter for the truck bed. I need to know how tall it will be overall. This truck has the 395-80-20 tires. I do not know the model number of shelter. I need to know in case truck needs to be trailered.
I will gladly take any help you offer. Unless something better comes up at this point I will drive the truck home. I would rather have it towed or trailered here but because it has a 105 behind it its a problem. I would like someone to fallow me in case of problems.
My part of the world sucks concerning military vehicle's. We don't have much here That is not beat or rusted out. I wish I had access to some of the clean trucks guys get in other parts of the country. Also interest in military vehicles is not high. I don't know anyone close to me to help...
I have canceled this sale. The seller did not have title as claimed. I want to thank all who offered help with this truck. I have instead made a deal to buy the truck listed in the classifieds here on this forum. I would much rather buy from a ss member and support our hobby anyway. Now I need...
Doghead, I don't have any info on how the navy system works. When you say that 4k-8810 is the military serial number that would be different than the registration number correct? I have searched many threads here on vin# and contract # I just want my truck home and the seller to get me a title...
The frame serial number has been verified as 012534140. So the id plate is stamped with the frame # in the wrong location. The vin is stamped in the contract no. location. What is the 4K-8?10 number mean. Looking at the pic it looks like 4k-8810 . I searched that number and came up with nothing.
