Milk tanks are all non-baffled these days. (FDA requirements for being able to clean them) If you don't ease into a stop they will easily something produce enough surge to push the rig. If your lucky the first time it happens it only scares the &^%$ out of you. :)

Have to agree my 71 K5 had rust in those "traditional" areas. Parts are readily available and the repair isn't to bad.

Went through the plant in Ashland, OR years ago while training in Lean Manufacturing and VSM principles. THeir process is as good as their product.
