Well, I think I killed mine today. Went for a short drive after doing some cosmetic work and when I turned it off I could hear liquid hitting the drive way. From the pics below you can see oil with antifreeze pouring out of the flywheel cover. Same color on the dipstick. Now it won't start...

I am getting ready to set the top on my slantback. The holes on the metal seal retainer and the windshield lined up except there are three holes on each end of the retainer where the windshield frame does not have any holes. Do I drill these holes into the windshield frame and rivet it in place...
I followed what Ryan did and used ear plugs to fill all the threaded holes and drain holes including the gi improvised ones. The monstaliner bed liner had a smell for the first three days as it cured, but none after that and my area is alot hotter than Ryan's.
I also went with Lizard Skin and Monstaliner. The Sound Insulation goes a lot further than the Ceramic. You can get two good coats of the Sound Insulation with 3 gallons or as Ryan said 4 gallons gets you 3 plus coats. Monstaliner will make military colors to match the CARC paint you just have...
Anyone have a link to the specific tool used to disconnect the electrical connection going into the box. I don't want to use channel locks and risk breaking it.
Does anyone have any experience with a PRC 117g? I see the TRI (ie china) version available and a vehicle mount for it. How well does this match up to other components such as a VIC 3?

Looks exactly like a vic 3. You are missing the master control station. Just google VIC 3 master control station and you will see the part you are missing or look at the complete VIC 3 setup for sale on g503 for the parts needed.
Did you ever try a larger tip size? I sprayed some hmmwv sponsons today with Sherwin Williams Carc. It definitely needs a larger tip as it's thick even when thinned a little.
Starting my conversion from a soft top to a slantback and was wondering about the electrical connections for the wiper motor. Are there double male Packard connectors that are used instead of the contact plates on the soft top windshield frame?
