Well found out where the oil leak is in my truck, head gasket driverside just above the oil filter. Here are my options with a local mechanic replace gasket and get head redone cost about $2000. I have access to this motors for $300-$400. This mechanic said it would take 18 hours to replace...

Just replaced my oil cooler line on the oil filter they had a leak. Well I knew things went to well, I replaced them in about an hour. After the truck warmed up and the oil started moving I noticed a leak above the lines close to the exhaust. Its very tight so I could not trace the leak all...
Well just changed the lines took about an hour no issue. The old one were leaking because they didnt have o rings in them. I guess I have a spare set now. That was only part of the oil leak. I have a leak near the exhaust just above the replaced hoses. Anyone have any ideas i cant see what...
Never heard that before. Been driving a MV down for about 6 years. This is the first trip for this truck. Going to San felipe I have many friends that have houses down there and there is never any issues. Most of the violence is on the other side of MX. Thanks for the heads up.

Did not get it figured out spent about another ten hours looking and doing volt and ohms checks. Its getting converted to 12 volts monday along with the oil line change. Then i will be heading on a 9 hour road trip to Mexico.
The light does not come on when the key is turned on to start I figured it was just a burnt out buld. I have the push button installed forthe glow plugs so they only work when the button is pushed. The light just started coming on a couple of days ago.
