ok Stumps you got me there. i should have reworded what i meant. granted you lose soem power by upgrading tires but in my case throwing 11's on not losing nearly as much as that big a gear ratio. :doh:
plus you gotta think you throw that gear in there . now you going to lose prescious off road power and pulling power by installing a higher gear just to get 10mph more out of your truck to me it aint worth it . ill stick to tire upgrades.
man a banks kit was such an easier process then what it sounds like you had to go threw. mine wasnt nearly as involved as that seemed.. wonder if your pulling more power from your though being you used a 6.5 mani.
well i cheared mine off when i did mine alwhile back and i got so sick of trying everything so i just drilled it out and tapped it and installed a new bolt simple and quick. if you dont have taps the auto parts store has thread repair kits theres a install tool and things that look like springs...
i can cur.. i give my throttle a pump (full) pump and that helps. plus since i installed a block heater last winter i dont need to pump it . only after work if i dont have anywhere to plug it in at work. lol
