Not a statement, just an opinion.. I've got 4 vehicles pre 1970 some of which I have rebuilt the wheel cylinders on and some I have replaced and some are all original.. The ones I have replaced have outlasted rebuilds by far, (just my experience). I was a mechanic for 8 yrs and have owned a...
I can't speak for the airpac but I would deffinetely buy new wheel cylinders instead of rebuilding the old ones. Are the now wheel cylinders leaking? It never hurts to have spares, but you know what they say... If it ain't broke don't fix it. Good luck.
Bummer.. Oh well, they're not too high. Ericksmilitarysupply.com should have them. I would suggest not getting the push button "cooler looking" switch because I have read where it shorts out and could cause a fire and or burn up your harness. Good luck!! Very cool ride and shoes (tires/wheels)...
Very cool! Hold the unlock switch up as in counter clockwise, while holding it up move the top switch all the way to the right, clockwise.. If it doesn't work after that you MAY need a new switch or a new high/Low beam switch. Check all connections/wires first before buying parts or get a hold...
Neophyte has the 16.00-20's on his M8XX dump which looks pretty good.. I like my 14.00-20 XL Michies a lot and they are very common and seem readily available. Go to advanced search type in neophyte's name under user name and take a look. He's the only one I can think of off the top of my head...
I have a M932A1 and love it! Reliable and plenty of power with no load.. If you're not towing or hauling, lower the tire pressure a little and it rides very nice.
I've read mostly about the fellas on here doing more of a mixture of diesel and motor oil, even read about veggie oil. Google something like "WMO and diesel, steel soldiers" some good threads should pop up.
I have read about the friction inhibitors in ATF being a problem when running through the fuel system as in not enough lubrication for the IP and injectors. Also heard something about it could crystallize when it gets too hot. Not positive on that last part.
Shouldn't be a problem at all as long as the truck is runnin well. A1-A2 models come with the 14.00-20 Super Single tires, most of which are rated at 56 MPH. Different size tires have different speed ratings.
