I wound up getting a new tank, but I used jbweld on the old one and I now use the old tank to transport WMO in my f150. It's nice because it's low profile and fits under the tonneau cover, which a 55g drum will not. The jbweld completely stopped the leak.
Anyway, I had the two pinholes under...
What an awesome weekend and a super group of people! I am so happy I didn't miss this event. Anyone who has read the Rausch Creek threads and wasn't sure about attending, I'm telling you to don't miss the next one. Just do it. Great people, awesome landscape and trails and Shenkmen's meat...
Haven't had to use it yet, but you two will be reunited for the weekend! I'll be bringing it with me just in case.
Looking forward to drinking some cold ones with you, but I think I'll take the sissy trails this time.
I really want to make this trip, but I'd prefer to convoy with someone with some experience just in case. Is there anyone coming down from the Binghamton / NEPA area? I'll be leaving from 18439, but I'd be happy to catch up with anyone coming anywhere near that area. If your route takes you...
The serial# is on the invoice, but it is usually not correct. You want to get the VIN from the frame of the truck. GL gets it from the dash plate for the invoice and dash plates can be swapped from truck to truck. Additionally, GL has a habit of adding the model# of the truck with the serial#...
I am constantly amazed with some of the members on this site and the things they can do. As a non mechanic whose biggest and most proud achievement to date has been installing spin on fuel and oil filters, these are the types of projects that leave me in awe.
Looks sweet OP.
I would anchor the hook to a tree with a tow rope or chain and remove the shackle pin if you can. If you have access to a tree on a bit of an incline so you can slowly roll backwards and use the weight of the vehicle to anchor it, that would be even better.
WOW. I was looking at 14 acres undeveloped on the Deleware last fall. It was in Damascus right at the end of rt 371. I think I could have thrown a rock to you if I bought that.
I also had my deuce at the East Branch fireworks this July 4th.
I go to Kublos Surplus in Brackney, PA for just...
I hired a skidder to level the land, load the stump and spread the stone. We got the stump off the truck by "tailgating". Secured one end of the cable to a tree, the other to the stump in the back of the truck and drive forward.
I chose to drive the stump out as opposed to winching it. It...
The cable is NOT the winch cable. But it is the same thickness. Yeah, the deuce broke that rusty cable pretty easily.
I wish I had a video, but I honestly did NOT expect the event to be anything dramatic. I wasn't even sure I'd get the stump out, nevermind half of the earth coming with it.
Making a new landing pad for the deuce. I was amazed by the power. I know I shouldn't be amazed, but it is just awesome to drive. I love this truck more each day.
I believe I'm in. I'll have a ton of questions for some Rausch Creek veterans as this will be my first MV meetup and first time at Rausch creek. I'll be heading down from NEPA (18454) if anyone is interested in a convoy from that area.

I see it from time to time.
I won't post links to active auctions but on a certain website there is currently an M820A2 5 ton being auctioned as an M35A3 2.5 ton.
Not sure how it all works out though as I've never bid on an incorrect lot.
