You'll know if you have no oil pressure. CRUNK! Your pressure will be very low. Aircooled 2 cyl engines usually have only a couple of psi. I think the "G" forum has some info on where to pickup a pressure reading. Look a page or two back in the forum. L/side between cylinders I think.
