No. It's been fired. It has the weight of a empty cartridge, as well as the percussion cap as been fired. Someone crimped it after the fact.

You were on the money! I hooked up the wire back to stock. Slowly moved the shifter in the neutral detent. At the same time I would push the transfer case button. Sure enough I found a sweet spot, and it worked. Thanks

Changed out the air dryer filters. Also cleaned out the cab and found this. Training round? (It has been fired)

By using the 587, I may be bypassing the switch I guess. I'm going to have to test.
