A navy gray M105 would look interesting, however if you are just putting a welder on it, I would use a M101 trailer since it can safely be towed by a pickup truck.

I got a theory, the jeep was probably a cut and reweld but instead of rewelding it back into a jeep, he chose to make it a (pickup?) The guy probably kept the suspension and had a shop create a new back. Either way it will stand out at MV rallys.

Agreed, make it look proper, paint it green and nobody will be able to tell the difference.
