Still waiting for one single person to show me on the EUC form that the gov't has the right to take your legally possessed vehicle........Saw several posts, but not one example when I post the EUC, where exactly this is.
We're not talking about illegally lying or transferring property.....WTF is with guys trying to obfuscate the fact they cannot steal you property from you?
Please show us on the EUC where exactly it says anything of the kind. This is another red herring we keep hearing. It doesn't exist. http://www.soldtiger.com/tigergrp/tigergrp204/files/euc.pdf
Okay I get the anti gov't stuff, but aren't you getting political here instead of fact driven in this case? I thought that was against the rules? Here i give facts that two DLA gvo't employees corroborate the fact, that once you own an ex gov't vehicle they can't come and take them without you...
What exactly does your post have to do with the gov't taking your legally owned and paid for property? What is with you guys perpetrating this myth the gov't can come and take your vehicles anytime they want? I did get it in writing BTW I posted it. REQUEST.... Did you not see that part?
I could pick a few words out a conversation and get the results I need for disinformation too. Please cite an example with proof of the gov't confiscating a previous military vehicle owned by someone legally. OOPS thread deleted right?
Did the buyers take possession? Quit clutching at straws, call or email the DLA before the nonsense starts. Any proof that they were taken or voluntarily surrendered?
Interesting first they were apparently violating federal laws. If you can, I'd like to know which case this was. It sounds like to me market cost would be well over what we paid for our vehicles, Would I give up my Humvee for the cost of a new one? Absolutely! Would i give up my Humvee in the...
I think you missed the word REQUEST and the unequivocal answer I got on the phone that you can say no and that's the end of it. Unless you're suggesting these gov't employees are lying and many at the DLA are ex military BTW. I'll take them at their word The number is in the email, feel free to...
After getting tired of a few long term members floating disinformation through either ignorance or jealousy insisting the gov't could come and take our private property anytime they feel like I decided to contact the DLA directly. Not only did they respond by email, but they called me twice to...
Same here, i use the napa 6tl's as replacements in almost all of my vehicles, when batteries won't come back. You can get them abut $170 when they are on sale. Just simpler than trying to move cables and mountings around. If you use group 31's( I do in my M1009) Look for a Batteries Plus...
Didn't even pull mine apart. Just take the fuel hose off the elbow, using two wrenches apposed, Spray brake cleaner in one end, let sit, work the valve. Spray it in the other end, let sit, work the valve with a wooden rod. All fixed. I didn't even need to prime.
I'll be ****ed an easy fix for once. Hadn't started my M35A3 in month or more, had one dead battery that wouldn't come back. Replaced it. Started truck up and it promptly died when trying the get the rpms up to inflate the tires...... Took the check valve off, filled it up with carb cleaner...
