The 1100R20 Michelin XZL's on M135 wheels and flipped hubs handle extremely well. Has done 65mph just fine.

Seen a late 60's GMC with a Holmes twin boom on it at the local Air Base a few years back while picking up a trailer for docfarmall.
Found a pic of the trailer but, still looking for pics of that wrecker. Wrecker equipment looked like the one pictured above.
I drove my XM818 over 2700 miles pulling an equipment trailer one week from Nellis to east following US highways .
Long trip at 55 0n the level.
Works better close to home and staying off interstate highways.
Always thought a M916 would be a good replacement.
The springs pictured were upgrades.
The common replacement for the single leaf helper's were either 5 or 6 leaf. The 5 leaf were a bit stiffer.
