Hey gentlemen, I want to know who put the extra caffeine in Tracy's coffee to get this done as fast as he is doing this.
I have a feeling the parts were already on site waiting for the MV to roll in to be reconditioned.

When I drove the Oddball express back to Michigan from Florida I was pulling a Deuce box double axle trailer. Both the trailer and 109 box was full of heavy equipment from the GA Rally and from Chris, which would be a load for any truck.
I noticed about half way home when I would stop for fuel...
I would cover up all existing areas with rubber mat or carpet. Why remove the stuff, be it FatMat or peel and stick.This was installed for a reason. I just took delivery of a factory stamped/molded carpet for a 1028 to completely cover the stuff I installed to deaden the sound. Here is a picture...
CUCVNUT, Beware the lights are bright as chit. The amp draw is not as bad as I thought. Make sure the ground is secure and good cause I had 1 light with a not so good ground and the wire was getting hot. I redid the ground to a strap and it fixed it.

I originally sent this story into CNN News back in October of 05. The response I got from them was " we will submit this to staff for CNN Hero's. I never did hear anything back and never expected to. This goes to show 1 man can and will make a difference.
Phil just left. Drop off and pick up. He is on his way to Flint then to Battle Creek then south to who knows where. He was in good spirits and has many more miles to go. Got to love free time.
I did everything I could to quiet mine down. The intake is loud all by it's self. I am guessing I cut the sound down by half doing both. I am a no body and just do what I think will help.
The intake was a fording concern as is the air compressor intake. I have to rout that to the air cleaner...
