I looked up the NSN for the master switch (SWITCH,ROTARY) and the spec's for the contact volt and amps are.

Unless someone changed something from stock there is on circuit breaker for the lights. Did you try and see if the B.O. brake lights work. In TM 9-2320-209-20-2-1, starting in figure 25-23 has some trouble shooting steps for the turn signals. I would check the B.O. brake lights first though...
Well I can't help with knowledge or manuals but congratulations on the MOG. Have thought of getting one myself but already have my hands full as it is.
Well I learn something new every day. My deuce cap is marked non-vented. The one on my 003 genny does have the selectable type. Thanks for the info Mike.
M35A2-AZ did you make the cover I see on the other beacon. I have often thought about a cover to help keep the light from getting weather worn as fast.
