I noticed on all the function checks of HMMWV's the engine is already at operating temp yet they are waiting about 7 seconds before starting the vehicle like they are observing the wait light, which wouldn't come on with the engine at operating temp. Any explanation for this?
Check your status frequently....They don't let you know by email or anything. You'll get some auto emails, like your inspection time has run out and storage fees will acrue.... Don't get worked up.... ignore them, they're automatic, and neither applies until the EUC clears.
Now the fun begins.....I had to buy a glowplug puller and still broke off a little chunk from one. I didn't notice the tip missing started it up and talk about a racket.....luckily it happened to get out the exhaust valve after 30 seconds of running..... JJ and A racing products has the puller...
Yes there is supposed to be some resistance. I forget how much. Put a clear line on the return yes at the front of the pump about 3 inches long or so. If you see fuel flowing when you crank it's a good sign. If you see a lot of air, you are sucking air from somewhere. Still betting glowplugs. I...
Put some clear hose from the pump to the return line see if you are getting bubbles of fuel through it. Are you gettin any smoke when cranking? Check your glow plugs resistance, each one. Just because you have power to them doesn't mean they are good. Ether destroyed mine both on the base and...
I've been thinking of using plywood and studs so my ambulance top can go on and look normal from outside without the expense of buying the right pillars and nonexistant bows on the back....... Thanks for your service bikeman.
Well I ordered a new motor since I was getting power to the motor...... I couldn't find the **** TM on removing the motor, thought the motor arm just pressed into the wiper arms, so I pulled it out and ping.......Looked again for the TM and finally found it, that ping I heard was the clip flying...
When I first signed up for GP, there was a tab on the left that said finance....I typed in my info, they only asked for last 4 digits, name address ect...... I don't know whether it was something on my computer or GP had been hacked. A month later my wife notices my visa card had the address...
I've got one, never used it yet. I don't know if I want to try 44K with it....The legs don't look all that sturdy, I wouldn't see pulling a hmmwv or jeep as a problem though.
But I have power to the switch, so doesn't that preclude those contacts being dirty? Your sprayer worked but the wipers didn't? Okay that's weird, why are there three contact points, when the switch only has two contact points to it? Is one a ground?
For the life of me I cannot find anywhere in any of the tm's diagnosing the wiper motor, which pins should have power. The sprayer works but wipers don't. If the sprayer has power shouldn't the wiper motor too? I have two pins going into the bottom of the wiper switch, I have four pins at the...
Well that might be slightly too fast for I90/94 construction of what 30 miles? Of never ending construction........ It will fit in well though with rush hour traffic except for no air conditioning.
I could be off as far as 70 degrees, I know when the coolant temp is a certain degrees the wait light will not come on and the GP's will not energize as they aren't needed to start.
I would wonder how they could take it back if you already titled it? It's your property at that point they would be seizing if you didn't voluntarily surrender it.
