I bought my deuce from bulldogmack13 and he already had a title for it.
Here is what I am hearing though, may help you out. If you ask GL, they will give you a Florida title for that $60, then take that to the MV place and have it transferred into a CO title. word on the street is, GL is...
uh
I served 45 years in St. louis, MO as a resident before I moved West.
Read lots of stuff on here. Seems like lots of CUCV's come out of Ft. Riley, KS on auction. Also seems like, if ya can handle the problems with glow plugs and fuel injection pumps, you should be ok with them there...
appreciate the help
I agree. I really appreciate the posts about pyrometers, etc. too.
Some day I hope to evolve with more gauges and maybe
even communication equipment in there.
you make me want to be a better deuce - owner. : )

uhh., uhmm, errr,
like personally, I have only hauled home a M105A2 from there with my deuce, but I have heard stories from the other kids in the MVCC of how they like haul stuff/residue/crap, home with towbars attached to deuces and M818's.

who are these people buying deuces for that much? what is going on?
I only have one so cannot really benefit if the market price has risen.
I was even scared to buy extra to sell now because of the way the
economy is, low consumer confidence, etc. gee whiz, gosh darn it.
zilch
I got nuthin. Kinda surprised at all the high prices. Was watching 4 different trucks, at last minute, put in a bid of $2290 for a regular deuce that had low miles of 9,000 sumthin and I got outbid. Was looking forward to something new to play with. Do not know any of the final...
was it an old brick building? I saw a story posted on this site about some place in Pueblo, CO that had amazing stuff but I think it is gone now.
(Gene's place is just stuff in the woods and in outbuildings at his home in the pine forest 11 miles away from me, I think I may go visit him...
Wow. I think you are in for a rude awakening.
These trucks are big and cumbersome.
It is going to be up to 48 degrees here today so I may start
mine up and cruise a little.
I store mine in a 4x4 shop's backyard.
Be very careful with these things around children.
The truck is loud and hard to...

I did'nt even know they made a trailer version.
Thanks for sending all those pics.
Tool Ttime Tim Allen would have a heart attack if he saw that.
Man!
I wonder how much the guv-mint origanlly paid
for that... $65 k maybe?
Hope it all works out well for ya.

agreed
I agree with all of the above.
1. My primary fuel filter was leaking at the output side, found someone had overtightened the line nut into the filter housing and the line nut had split.
2. My intake manifold flame heater started dripping really good too, out the end that is not stuck...
markings
I run around Colorado Springs with my deuce which has bulldogmack13's unit markings on it, since he was the previous owner. No one has said a thing and my driving has me spend much time on a big boulevard where I see army and air force people in uniform, in their civy cars around me...
sounds like fun
Brian,
Sounds like fun. I will pm my contact info to you. I'd be glad to help out.

I work across the interstate from the Academy.
A rather amazing constant air circus going on there Mon-Fri....gliders, single engine planes doing ovals, and folks constantly parachuting.
If your son and his buddies and buddettes, needs to hear or see or ride in a deuce, I can bring mine by...
winches
I heard one thing to do is to get the winch]s driveshaft kinda laying in place before you drop in the winch.
who is gringletaube? is he the man behind the curtain? this entity's answers alway amaze me by the depth of knowledge. Also impressed by doghead's info and tell ya where you...
