When pulling any load the tung weight is important. Always pull an even level trailer with most of the weight in front of the Axel. Thats my rule of thumb.
I have the wheels pulled off, the truck's up on blocks and I remembered this thread so I took a few pictures. I know stone picker has these rims and tires. He's in Fla. These are the standard GM 37X12.5X16.5 HUMMER Wheels, Hope it helps.
I weld in the field in my profession every day, We use a Miller Mig and a Lincoln Mig, The Hobart is the Cadillac of the three. I would go with a Miller mig since even a hardware store has the tips and wire available even on a Sunday when the welding shop is closed.

Thats cool if I could find it. I followed the fuel line from the tank to the filter housing base. I guess I have glaucoma working in overdrive. I will look again.
I am redoing a 1028 with the standard 6.2. I was surprised to find there was no fuel pump on the tank, in the tank or on the rail....I am a mechanically inclined kinda guy but this makes no sense to me.I think the hard start problems I read allot of here in the forums are from a fuel line back...
