    Hog Farm Deuce

The Tank The tank is in good shape and they did a good job of building a base and then bolting the base to the frame rails, so no welding to the frame! I intend pulling it off and hauling it down to the live stock auction barn to see if I can at least get what I paid for the truck out of it...

M19A1 8 TON TRAILER DOLLY CONVERTER

All to no avail, outbid again, most went for over $600, of course it is hard to tell since GL no longer adds them to your bid history. James G.

M19A1 8 TON TRAILER DOLLY CONVERTER

I found out the level hitch weight is 250 lbs., downward angle would increase that a good bid I would think. My hitch will load level up to 800 lbs, but I think my Armada is lower than your pickup. James G.

    New M818 w/w

DD: That is the way to go, any pre flight prep is a help. I am glad I didn't plan on picking up my M543A2 on the East cost though, when I got to see it the military had drained every fluid, cost me $900 plus so far filling her back up. But if GL is talking ending truck sales I am going to...

    M35 - Wooden Steering Wheel?

Does anyone know if any of the early Deuces had wooden steering wheels? A guy I work with knows where there is a 1953 Army Truck(I assume a deuce), he is pretty sure it is a gasser and it runs. it also has a wooden steering wheel? The price is right so I guess I will drive the hour into the...

    Deuce Recovery and Issue

Thanks, Guys thanks for the info. I have to go up to Indianapolis for the week, but as soon as I get back I am going to dig into the problem. I was wondering if all that copper tubing had anything to do with the steering system. By the way there is no Psst. sound when I turn. James G.

    Deuce Recovery and Issue

Air Driven There is an air pressure adjustment valve located on the frame in the engine compartment, any idea what it should be adjusted to? The unit looks to be in very good shape, hopefully it will just need adjustment. James G.

    Deuce Recovery and Issue

Picked up my 1966 M35A2 this week in Little Rock, one of the best GL sites I have visited, always great to work with. Used the check list and only found the front differential and transmission a quart short. Added batteries and started right up. Made the 71 mile trip with only one issue...

    Spring AROKMOTXKS rally

Well I am sorry I missed it. I did spend a somewhat entertaining four hours in a roadside park outside Clarksville, AR after the the 715 quit. A lot of truck drivers are vets apparently, I never got bored, there was always a driver or two wanting to look at or talk about the 715/contact...
