I'm considering placing a bid on some of the gen trailers coming out of Ft Meade. Anyone in the area that can pick-up and hold the lot for me? I'll be headed that way 1 Apr... not exactly within the time frame.
Thanks
Travis I wasn't a proponent of the illegitimate GN in the first place.
Any M35 series truck isn't going to be towing anything at a high rate of speed anyways. Besides HP isn't everything torque and proper gearing are the key to moving heavy loads.
An M35 with a serious load will fall on...
I agree, but remember that rating is based on the pintle and not a goose-neck or fifth wheel configuration.
If you look up the ratings pin weight and tow capacity for the M275 or the tractor version of the M35 you'll get better rating.
12000 and 36000 towed highway
I'm not saying that is...
There is a link on each GL lot to the shipping page. You simply pick the company and fill out the information required. Usually gets back to you in a day.
You can also post specifics here and see if any can help.
Lastly you can post on uShip and get tons of bids.
Diesel fuel has two critical temperature points, those are pour point and cloud point. Pour point is the lowest temperature at which the fluid will flow. Cloud point is the temperature in which the wax begins to crystallize within the fluid. The difference between the two points is usually...
Have you actually measured the height cause the bed of my M35 is nearly the same heigth (higher) as the bed rails on my F350 which are 20" higher than the base of the ball on my B&M turnoverball gooseneck hitch.
I'm not saying it wouldn't work but there willhave to be some modification somewhere.
Anybody have a NAPA part number for the fuel filters? Or all PM filters for the matter? I plan to do an initial fuel filter swap, and another after the first tank.
Thanks
Send me a list, maybe you can save me some cash...
I do agree with the baseball comment, lately I've lost to some diehard bidders. What drives me nuts is some of these guys win muiltiple lots of the same equipment. Yet they bid me up on lot after lot, to the point that they would have saved...
I bid like a lot of you minimum on everything to watch, then last day bid my max auto-bid on my fav. As each favorite gets outbid I move to the next one. Sometimes, I win, most of the time I lose.
Sometimes I change my max at the last minute, not usually wise but sometimes I blind bid my max...
You'll learn to always assume the worst with GL, why do you think they didn't take interior pictures...
Was it a Saginaw truck...I'm guessing yes.
Hope it all works out.
LOL, I'm actual trying to a hold of wreckerman to see if he can store the trailer if I can get it to his place. As it's his place I'm headed to in the first place. Unfortunately my next stop is OKC, so the farthest south I'm headed is Birmingham...
Mine too, but again I live on a wide street, and I don't back many trailers into my drive, I have a back alley with a clean straight shot into the yard. It was the reason I bought the house. It's a tight squeeze getting my fiver in the back yard, and I don't think the M871 will make the...
I found a nice M105 trailer I'd like to purchase in Saraland Alabama. I'm currently scheduled to come down to Sand Rock on the 1st of Apr. Anyone running that route capable of towing a M105 for me? I'm trying to find a way to save a 342 mile addition to my trip.
I can compensate for gas...
Wow, I thought I had it bad with a 9' drive and a telephone pole...
But with a 30' street it's not to bad. Anything with tail swing has to be backed driver side to the inside, which is the preferred method when backing anything anyways. Unfortunately the pole blocks your view as does the...
